Pre-Orders
Pre-order allows you to order an item through our website in advance of the product's release date.
Pre-orders are only offered from time to time and are generally only offered on high demand products such as new release games.
If an item is available for pre-order it will advise on the product details page that it is available for pre-order and the release date. You can add this to your cart and check out normally. The item will be dispatched from our warehouse the day prior to release date.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of placing a pre-order.
Delivery
We will dispatch your order the day prior to release date. For metro areas this should mean you receive the product on release date (delivery to other parts of Australia may take a little longer). You will receive an email update when the item has left our warehouse. This will contain a link so you can track your order.
Pre-order Price Guarantee
Our gaming pre-order price can at times change from when the item is listed for initial pre-order to when the title is released. Whenever you pre-order a video game from DickSmith.com.au, the price we charge when we ship it to you will be the lowest price offered between the time you place your order and the day of the release. By pre-ordering now, you will have the current listed cost of the game charged to your credit card to secure the product. Prior to the release date you will receive an email communication confirming the release price for the game, should this be a lower price the difference will be refunded to your card.
- Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to not-yet-released video games sold by dicksmith.com.au. It does not apply to other product lines or to items that have already been released.
- Pre-order Price Guarantee applies only to qualifying items displaying the offer message on their product detail pages. Items that do not display the offer message do not qualify.
- If the price is lowered before the day of release, we will automatically refund your credit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price. If you did not use a credit card to pay for your order, please contact Customer Service.
